Blogging experience!

Hi everyone!
I just want to share with you a little about my first blog experience and why I’m interested in blogging .
I've been blogging for about three months. On this blog I share whatever information, ideas, interviews and funny things about me.

When I started my blog, I thought that it would be so difficult to write brief or long entries with a good use of English words in order to be clearly understood and to gain the attention of my friends. Since I’m not a creative writer, I make my blog posts as long as possible with sweet meaning about a topic uploading photos, videos, drawings and so on. That`s not bad for a new blogger right ?

My unique experience in terms of interaction was great. Personally, I think that language V blogging experience highly motivated my classmates to read more and share opinions to each other by interacting with posts and replied back some comments.

In my opinion, you must read other blogs if you wanted to become a true blogger. Gladly, I enjoyed making comments and being interested in others popular blogs. As a Blogger I had the opportunity to improve my writing skills, getting involved with all english words and express myself on my own way, literally.

On the other hand, I could learn many blog tools and use them every day to give my own impression about something. Based on the things I said above the main reason I have this blog is because I have fun with it, one way or another I enjoy posting things here for others to read.

I think my blog has been fairly successful and very useful in my English learning. So, maybe I’d share some of my own reflections on this tool forever.

What`s up? well, I was thinking in a super cartoon and finally decided this...here it is...
One of my favourite cartoon is ThUnDer CaTs!!!
This cartoon programme tells about a interstellar feline family which arrived to the earth after that their native planet was destroyed because of natural disasters. Then, in the earth the youngest of them, "Leono" will be the leader.
this story is set in a fantastic world where all the cats became friends with differents kind of species like animal, robots and so on...But! they have an enemy...."Munrra, the inmortal" who is a mommy actually.
Looking back on my chilhood , I remember that I was watching them every day in the morning. what else?
I really like this cartoon because they fight for real justice and their characters have really cool powers.

Household chores ¬¬

Truly, I hate doing household chores but I do them regularly because I don't want my house to be too messy and icky. Also, my mom get angry when I do not have all the things in order. She likes that everything looks and smell perfect.
First, I hate doing the dishes!!to be clear... washing and drying.
I get stuck doing them every single day. Besides, we have no dish washer so I have to wash them by hand and I spend time instead of having fun...XD!

My house ¬¬

I`ll provide a brief description of my apartment, actually.
My apartment, situated at the third floor, is very comfortable and brightly illuminated. It’s includes hall way, dining room with a completely equipped kitchen, large living room with a green sofa, Tv, Dvd with home theater and Cd player. Besides, the rooms are furnished to suit all tastes. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds and 2 bathrooms. By the way...I live with my sister.
It is a very lovely and charming flat with the most modern comfort within easy walking distance of the square.

Next reflective Essay

The topic of my essay will be "Low-risk activities" in schools based on the article by Dick Edelstein (1988). The main idea is to discuss how this topic is relate to the Chilean context, including my professional practice or possible future work environment.
First of all, I`ll present an introduction and then my arguments about the biggest problems in chilean’s school which is that students are not learning like the article says “the real risk in the language classroom”. Thinking about that, a few questions comes to my mind ¿what is the sense of risky?¿What teachers need to do an interesting lesson?

Well, I`ll write enought using examples and strong points.
Finally, to conclude by giving good ideas to put in practice to make the students learn with innovative activities to improve learning skills.
As the article said "many innovative activities are not particularly risky" I think that teachers should provide opportunities of participation every class to make students feel comfortable in their learning environment. So, we need teachers with self-determination and they have to be open-minded!
Nowadays, in my work experience at school, I pretty sure that students learn with enjoyable activities and they work as well when something is fun and interesting.

school kill creativity

I am very interested to comment on the creativity expert Sir Ken Robinson`s talk.
The speech was brilliant and I agree with most of ideas that he said. He challenges the way we're educating our children. As he said we have to rethink of our school systems in order to cultivate creativity and knowledge.

Most importantly was that Sir Ken Robinson argues that we've been educated to become good workers, rather than creative thinkers.

"We are educating people out of their creativity," Robinson says. Why don't we get the best out of people?

Looking back on my own experience in school, I and my classmates were put inside in a little room for creativity between authoritative, confucius and conservative education environment. School was the biggest bore to me!. We were students with restless minds and bodies far from being cultivated for our energy and curiosity. Actually, we were ignored. X(!

In short, we are all unique and it takes an extraordinary gift to recognize what it is that makes each child special and to help bring out their talents. Education needs to be more inclusive to new ideas, cultures, technologies.

Today I`d like to write about my reading habits and what do I like to read.

You know that if you want to achieve good reading habits, you must practice and work at it in order to change. Personally, I like to read faster and concentrated while I am imaging the story getting involved with it. I really enjoy classics books.

Where? Specially in my aparment`s balcony, which is a very quiet and comfortable place with the sunlight. When? In my free time, maybe on holidays and weekend.

Well, I love fantasy novels! My last favourite book is The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman. This book is set in a universe similar to ours but different in several aspects, one of those differences being that people have souls in the form of animal-shaped called "daemons." The language is great to a younger audience with a lot of themes and illusions.

So...that`s about it.

Learn!

Contemporaneuos dance! that is exactly what I would like to learn.
I used to dance a few years ago with my sister in a group and now she is learning "Flamenco". We enjoy dancing.
Given the chance, I would look for the lessons and I would learn more about ballet or urban dance. For me, It´s something relaxing and dynamic. Besides, I can learn all the types of dance. If I might have the opportunity to learn the handling of the foot, the movement of the hands and arms I will be so happy XD!!.
However, I would need extra time to do that too... jaja

the city of the future¨¨

To tell you the truth, I think that this city is a great utopia in terms of making the world a better place to live. I could imaging myself living and working there. It would be so different! this is extremely pleasant, healthful and comfortable.
what was interesting?Victory City would accommodate quite a large number of people in a very small area with less waste and less overhead.

I think there are thousand of innovative ideas like the rooftops of Victory City buildings could be used as landing pads for helicopters, giving residents a variety of alternative travel options. What I like the most was about in the large residential building would be a recreation area with ping pong and pool tables. Also, a center for social, entertainment and sports activities. This include a cafeteria, meeting and party rooms, a dance hall!
Outdoors on the grounds, there will be a lake for boating, fishing, water skiing. Indoors, there will be a gymnasium including basketball courts, bowling alleys, and more.
Some idealistic ideas? well, I think that there are some objectives or future ideas too idealistics like the elimination of air pollution from vehicles, traffic accidents and related costs and less time spent traveling from point to point. These sounds like the environment of Santiago right? Victory City plans solve all these problems.

Santiago in 2050? will be like the same city that everyone know. I don´t think in a pesimistic way but if someone could do something about it will be great! Maybe Santiago will be transform in a unique opportunity for a better life with a higher standard of living for people.

There are so many events that go unexplained and cause us to wonder. Believing in ghosts, the afterlife is something extraordinary, unusual and mysterious.
I remember an experience like that once. Every afternoon when I was arriving at home I found my bedroom`s window opened but I didn`t understand why this was happening because I always closed the window before I left. Making this story short, someone told me that a few years ago a young girl killed herself jumping from this window. The girl`s soul was trying to tell me something? I have no idea.. That was terrible!
I don`t believe in ghosts but anyway...who knows, maybe you have an spirit close to you jajaja...buubu

Bone idle!

Now, I`d like to write about this topic: to be extremely lazy in your life. For example, someone like Homer Simpson. He doesn`t do much around the house. In fact, he`s bond idle!

He never does any exercises and I`ve never seen him worried or anxious in any way. In other words, happy-go-lucky .^^ Actually, I admit that I`m laid-back and I love sleep lightly but on the other hand I`m down-to-earth. All in all, my relaxed attitude is one of the qualities in my personality traits.

Do you live alone?

Nowadays, living alone has great importance on Chilean people`s mind. Around this time, the number of single women and men has been increasing for a lot of good or bad reasons that could be made the difference in their lives.

Living by yourself has advantages and disadvantages. One of the advantages is having your own space. You can decorate it any way you like. You do not have to worry about getting home late as well because you know that there is no one waiting for you. Moreover, you can express yourself more freely. The thing is that there's no one to complain about stupid things. For example, If you do not want to wash the dishes jajaja!...
After all, people actually like their lonely status.
Although living alone is great, there are also down moments. For instead, you will feel alone when you had a bad day and no one is there to be with you. It is also frustrating if you do not have someone to share your happiness. For this reason, living alone is a life challenge too. However, this is a matter of choice.
In conclusion, living alone is not something bad but in order to be happy you have to appreciate what you have and you will surely enjoy living on your own.

movie!

One of my favourite movies is "Ratatouille" by the director Brad Bird. It`s an animation family comedy of Pixar. Cast:Patton Oswalt, Brian Dennehy, Brad Garrett, Janeane Garofalo, Ian Holm.
What`s it about? It`s a great story about the art of cooking. A rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family's wishes. In Paris, Remy finds himself cooking in a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau.
The movie is great! It`s really funny, the storyline kept me engaged the whole time and the overall mood was inspiring.I watched it with my sister and my boyfriend and I left the cinema excited to see it again. I love Paris too, the images about the city are beautiful.In addition, the voice actors are excellent and the animation is amazing.
Anyone can cook!

At the moment, I`ve been listening to "Don`t believe in love" by English singer-songwriter Dido from her upcoming album. this British pop singer has released the lead single from her new album, "Safe Trip Home" and Its been playing on the radio since September.I love this song and her sound!!.
This song have a lot of powerful images about the meaning of love and the music was created using her great collection of instruments. In spite of others songs, this one has not electronic effects.

Today, I`d like to do a review of a classmate's blog.
First of all, there can be no doubt that my friend fefa is an imaginative and top girl who likes making things in style. For axample, her blog`s layout adding beautiful gadgets, images and colorful writing. On the other hand, her way to express her ideas about something shows us that she is always making the difference.
It is my view that lala land has own style to present her posts...I mean, in her blog archive she writes in his way. Besides, she chose her options to design her blog like a template, display new settings and things like that. At this point, the blog she created is an original work. what else? I have no idea...

I am writing this to you because I want to express my total dissapointment with justice in Chile. I am really upset with the way that you resolve problems, that is not the correct way.

(x)When someone commit a crime, he is send it to jail, but just for a few days and that is all. Then we can see that people(x) free and doing the same thing that he did before. Do you think that is ok? I do not think so.

I know that is pretty difficult to organize everything,(comma not needed) and I know that you have to do a lot of thing too, but don't you think that this is really important? It is shocking (wehen) SP we saw WW something like "A man kill her wife and his two kids" P then P send him to jail, they declare him like "mad" and it is free.

I think that you have to be careful with power, I mean, there are a lot of people with a lot of power, but they do not know how to use it. An example of this is judges, (bescause) SP I think that they are too light with (senteces) SP. So I do think that you have to do something about it.

Dear Mrs. Paulina Urrutia:
I am writing to express my disappointment with the way that teenagers post and write messages in the street, known as "graffitis". Actually, a colouring expression full of rebelliousness and juvenile communication. Nevertheless, as a urban art for many people, the graffitis are also an inconvenience for medical centers and hospitals, recreative facilities, hotel, house and any type of installation.
In some cases, vandalism attack in private property writing negative messages.
I strongly believe that you should find a solution about this problem. In fact, could be exist walls where the grafiteros could express, which was a center of attraction for them.
It`s true that they have the right to express because they look for walls where the public could catch the messages. I insist that the government should operate to solve this problem, offering them nearby walls with good location. Also, should exists a section that deals with the building cleanliness, maintenance of parks, squares and that wipe off the graffitis of these places.

I hope that you will look into this situation and take my comments into consideration.

** Easter **

what do I do at Easter?
Easter in Chile is a religious event, but most people only take it as days to relax. that is what i like the most.
In terms of the non-religious aspect, chocolate eggs quest by children is a typical custom. I admit that I do the same. I love chocolate!. On Good Friday I eat fish instead of meat and I spend time with my family and so on.

So,I took a look around here and I found a lot of features and resourses to improve my English pronunciation. Of course, everyone can do that too even if you are not a native speaker! Besides, there are plenty of videos, quizzes, activities and downloads.Actually, I love crossword!!! Really,it`s very useful for teachers and students with differents English levels. I liked the idea that each person could test their knowledge and practice in every learning skills and so on.
I think is a great language learning tool compare to others that I`ve seen before because you can spend time doing whatever you want.
Anyway, it`s was pretty good! ^^
